If you are an existing Finsec borrower and have any questions about your loan or are experiencing any difficulties in making your repayments then please contact us right away. COVID-19 Coronavirus

If your income has been reduced as a result of the current emergency measures in place and you think you will be unable to make your payments to Finsec as normal you may request a temporary deferment or reduction in payment to assist whilst your financial position is affected by COVID-19. We will need to discuss your request to understand how you are affected and to explain how it will affect your account so please contact us as assistance is not automatically granted. Finsec may grant you a temporary deferment or reduced payment for a period of up to 3 months after which time you will be required to resume your normal contractual payments and make up the missed payments, or to agree a further temporary arrangement.

Whilst we continue to agree temporary deferment of payments or reduced payments we will not charge any arrears management fees or additional arrears charges although normal contractual interest will continue to accrue upon your loan balance which will mean your loan will take longer to repay than if payments were not missed or deferred.

Finsec granting a temporary deferment or reduced payment is by concession only, it is not a formal arrangement the terms and conditions of your loan agreement or mortgage offer remain unchanged.

We share information about your account and how you manage it to credit reference agencies but where we agree a payment deferment we will report your account accordingly, but if you fail to resume payments or make payments as agreed after a period of deferment the arrears status will be reported which could affect your credit record.
